Day 1: Castle of Libohova
- Morning: Embark on our journey with a visit to the Castle of Libohova, strategically perched above the town of Libohova, providing a commanding view of the valley.
- The Castle is situated above the town of Libohova, at the foot of Mount Bureto, in a strategic position overlooking the entire valley. Constructed at the end of the 18th century by Ali Pasha Tepelena for the wedding of his sister, Shanisha, who lived in the castle with her husband.



Afternoon: Sofat Festival
The Sofat Festival kicks off with Canzoniere Grecanico Salentino, Italy’s main and longest-running traditional music ensemble, hailing from Salento, the heel of the Italian boot, in Puglia. Fanfara Tirana, a versatile ensemble with influences from art, folklore, jazz, and reggae, promises a vibrant experience.

Day 2: Sarajet of Myfi Bey Libohova, Church of Labova of the Cross, Antigonea Archaeological Park
Morning: Begin Sunday at the Palaces of Myfi Bey Libohova, reflecting on the outstanding life and contributions of Mr. Moikom Zeqo, an intellectual from Libohova.
After the meeting, explore the surroundings and history of the Sarajes of Myfi Bey Libohova, built in the late 19th century as a residence for the large Libohova Beyler family.



- Our next visit is to the Church of Labova of the Cross, a Byzantine beauty dedicated to St. Mary, constructed in 554 during Emperor Justinian’s reign. It stands as one of the first 40 churches built globally.

- Afternoon: Our third stop is the Antigonea Archaeological Park, near the village of Saraqinishte, a 30-minute drive from Gjirokaster. Antigonea, an ancient city dedicated to love, reveals a well-planned urban structure with Hellenistic elements.
- The city covers an area of approximately 40 hectares and is built on two hills. It is a well-planned city with a Hippodamic layout, enriched with Hellenistic elements.
- During excavations, a large number of artifacts related to everyday life have been found, produced from metal or ceramics, linked to craftsmanship and agriculture. These findings provide evidence that these sectors played a significant role in the economic life of the city.
